The Jaffrey Civic Center has launched “A Taste of Art,” a free monthly series of hands-on workshops debuting this year for residents of the Monadnock region.
The program will feature a different local artist each month leading sessions in various mediums, including collage and printmaking. Over the year, the series will support 10 local artists and serve about 150 students.
The center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has operated for nearly 60 years with a mission “to provide and sustain a public venue where people of the Monadnock region can pursue artistic, educational, and civic activities.”
