Many voices in a celebration of song

Many voices contributed to a lively and meaningful Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. 2026. The Jaffrey-Rindge MLK Committee thanks Monadnock Chorus and Dublin School Chorus and leaders Brittney and Zach Redler for their wonderful spirit and deeply felt performance; Florisbeth Joseph for words of inspiration; Jaffrey Grade School fifth graders in Mr. Harrisโ€™s class for edifying presentations on singer-activists of the Civil Rights Movement; and Devin Johnson for expert performance of his original rap song, โ€œLiftedโ€. We applaud our newest Franklin Pierce student representative, Andrew White, who served as moderator for the event. We also thank Mallory Mason, Conval โ€™28, for her creative design of our poster, The Park Theatre, Conant High School Rotary Interact and Girl Scout Troop #59095 volunteer ushers, and donors, New Hampshire Charitable Foundationโ€™s Putnam Foundation, Savings Bank of Walpole, and Rindge Womanโ€™s Club. Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. brings people together to commemorate a great leader and elevate peace, community, and social justice. The Jaffrey-Rindge MLK Committee invites new members. Jaffrey or Rindge residence is not required. Contact jaffreyrindgemlk@gmail.com.
