Many voices in a celebration of song
Many voices contributed to a lively and meaningful Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. 2026. The Jaffrey-Rindge MLK Committee thanks Monadnock Chorus and Dublin School Chorus and leaders Brittney and Zach Redler for their wonderful spirit and deeply felt performance; Florisbeth Joseph for words of inspiration; Jaffrey Grade School fifth graders in Mr. Harrisโs class for edifying presentations on singer-activists of the Civil Rights Movement; and Devin Johnson for expert performance of his original rap song, โLiftedโ. We applaud our newest Franklin Pierce student representative, Andrew White, who served as moderator for the event. We also thank Mallory Mason, Conval โ28, for her creative design of our poster, The Park Theatre, Conant High School Rotary Interact and Girl Scout Troop #59095 volunteer ushers, and donors, New Hampshire Charitable Foundationโs Putnam Foundation, Savings Bank of Walpole, and Rindge Womanโs Club. Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. brings people together to commemorate a great leader and elevate peace, community, and social justice. The Jaffrey-Rindge MLK Committee invites new members. Jaffrey or Rindge residence is not required. Contact jaffreyrindgemlk@gmail.com.
