The Park Theatre in Jaffrey will host a one-time screening of the documentary “Paul McCartney: Man on the Run” on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 6:30 p.m.
The film explores McCartney’s transition from The Beatles to his solo career and Wings following the band’s breakup in 1970. It features archival footage, photographs by Linda McCartney and interviews with Mick Jagger, Chrissie Hynde, Sean Ono Lennon, Mary and Stella McCartney, all living Wings members and McCartney himself. The screening includes a bonus conversation with McCartney and director Morgan Neville, exclusive to cinemas.
Tickets are $15. The Park Theatre is one of two New Hampshire venues screening the film as part of a limited national release ahead of its streaming debut later in the month.
The Park Theatre is located at 19 Main Street in downtown Jaffrey. Tickets are available online, by phone or at the box office.
