The Friends of the Jaffrey Library Book Donation Saturday has been rescheduled to Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon because the library will be closed Feb. 14 for the Presidents’ Day holiday weekend.
Donations should be brought to the Bean Room on the main floor, where volunteers will screen books to ensure they have no writing, tears or stains. Magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, travel guides, medical, financial advice or computer books will not be accepted.
The money from book sales supports library services and programs. Sale shelves on the lower and main levels are refreshed weekly.
The next donation date is Saturday, March 14. Book donations are accepted only on these second Saturdays. Donors are asked not to leave books with library staff or in the outside book drop.
