A minor was injured Saturday afternoon in a head-on snowmobile crash on Bible Hill Road in Bennington, according to New Hampshire Fish and Game.
The crash was reported at about 2:15 p.m. Feb. 1. Authorities said one operator, identified as Christopher Bascom, 41, of Charlestown, was uninjured. The other snowmobile was operated by a minor, who sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Both operators were thrown from their snowmobiles during the collision. The injured minor was transported to Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough.
The crash remains under investigation, but officials said operator inattention appears to be the primary cause.
