The Park Theatre will present a staged reading of “Dickens’ America” at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 13 on the Eppes Stage in Jaffrey. Written by the theater’s CEO, Steve Jackson, the one-man play is performed by Adam Sowers as Charles Dickens and directed by Lisa Bostnar. The work follows Dickens’ 1842 tour of the United States and is adapted from his travelogue “American Notes for General Circulation.”
