Residents gathered at the James A. Tuttle Library on Dec. 6 for the town’s annual tree lighting.

Attendees enjoyed hot chocolate, cookies, carols and the Festival of Trees inside the library while waiting for Santa’s arrival. Santa reached the library at about 4:05 p.m., riding in on a fire truck with signs and lights announcing his approach.
