The Jaffrey Civic Center will host its Holiday Craft Fair on Friday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 40 Main St. The free event offers holiday shopping, demonstrations and activities for all ages while supporting local artisans and the civic center.

Highlights include a Christmas Village display, an art raffle to benefit the center, and a free wet-felted soap demonstration with Susan Garry in the classroom.

Shoppers will a variety items, including media and collectibles such as posters, comic books, movie and toy figures, CDs and albums, baseball cards and paint-your-own ornaments. Handmade goods will include rope baskets, deco mesh swags, painted wood crafts, stained glass, fused-glass jewelry, floral and wood items, creative planters and Christmas ornaments.

Fiber and textile offerings will feature crochet and sewn pieces, home dรฉcor, and block-printed and embroidered tea towels. Jewelry and accessories of various styles will be available, along with candles and aromatics such as beeswax candles, hot and cold packs, and catnip toys.

Art and craft kits such as diamond art sets and paint-your-own projects will be offered, along with a free wet-felted soap activity for children and adults. Additional items include wind spinners, tumblers, keychains, alpaca products and small ceramic tea plates.

Whoopie pies, sourdough, tea and honey also will be available.
