At the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Clubโ€™s breakfast meeting held Oct. 23 at Franklin Pierce University, Rotarian Sam Lafortune presented the Student of the Month Award to Isaiah Kinnunen, an eighth grader at Heritage Christian School, joined by his mother, Amanda Kinnunen. The honor included a certificate and a gift card to the Toadstool Bookshop.

Isaiahโ€™s teachers describe him as a dedicated and hardworking student who consistently excels in math and completes assignments promptly and thoroughly. He is known for volunteering to help others and setting a positive example among his peers. Teachers often select him for responsibilities requiring honesty and reliability.

Beyond academics, Isaiahโ€™s talents include playing piano, hockey, and demonstrating kindness and respect toward people of all ages. The Rotary Club recognized these qualities as a reflection of the clubโ€™s values of service, leadership, and community engagement.
