Once a kid named Ellie and her friends Noah and Emma were having a sleep over and they stayed up till midnight playing games and telling stories. Then just before they went to sleep Noah said, “Hey guys I have a great idea, let’s go outside and sleep in the tree house!”

Ellie and Emma thought it was a great idea, and they took their pillows and blankets and went outside to the tree house and said goodnight. Then they all fell asleep, and all of them had the same nightmare. It was about this clown in a graveyard, and when they tried to wake up, they couldn’t. They all kept trying and trying to wake up, but they just couldn’t because the clown wouldn’t let them. Every time they tried to wake up, the clown got closer and closer. Soon, they just stopped trying to wake up and tried to run away, but they couldn’t because every time they ran, the clown ran. Then Emma said, “Why is this happening? Make it stop!” 

Then the clown said, “I’m sorry, but I can’t do that. You see, once I was having this same nightmare, and there was a clown coming toward me, too. He explained that if he touched me, he would go back to being human, and I would be a clown, so now I’m going to make one of you a clown so I can go back to normal.” 

 Noah, Emma, and Ellie were scared. They didn’t know what to do. So they asked the clown which one of them he was gonna turn into a clown. Noah was the most scared. He was frozen in place with a pale face.  Emma and Ellie ran, but the clown started to chase them. Noah was still paralyzed with fear. He thought if he didn’t run, then the clown wouldn’t get him. He stayed where he was. But Noah never thought that the clown would come for him. But it did! When the clown got closer to him, he was getting a little nervous.  But, he didn’t run by Noah, he ran straight for Noah.  All of a sudden, Noah was gone!  Ellie and Emma went back to the treehouse. They worried if anybody would remember Noah, does the clown erase people’s memory too?  But Emma and Ellie will remember him for the rest of their lives.
