Hearthside Family Health has announced that Julie Hounchell, APRN, has joined its membership-based primary care practice. With more than 25 years of experience caring for patients of all ages, Hounchell brings extensive expertise in family medicine, pediatrics and chronic disease management.
She has worked in family and pediatric practices as well as pediatric pulmonary specialty clinics, focusing on helping children and families manage asthma and other chronic conditions through education and personalized care. Hounchell has also developed community health initiatives, including a school-based health center and a pediatric asthma clinic.
After returning to New Hampshire to be closer to family, Hounchell joined Hearthside Family Health to continue her commitment to accessible, patient-centered care. She values the strong relationships fostered by the Direct Primary Care model, which emphasizes simplicity, prevention and personalized attention.
