From pumpkin festivals to haunted trails: Halloween festivities in full swing

Antrim: Trunk or Treat at the Tuttle Library is Thursday, Oct. 23, from 5 to 7:00 p.m. The library will also host a costume party on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

Bennington: Haunted Hayride & Trunk-or-Treat will be held at the transfer station at 200 North Bennington Road on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 7 to 9 p.m.  Sponsored by the Bennington Recreation Committee.

Dublin: Trick or treat 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to sign up as trunks are limited.

Francestown:  Trick or treat 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Recreation Department Trunk or Treat 6 to 8 p.m. on Main Street, with trick-or-treat and a DJ and drop-in dance at the Town Hall at the same time. Greenfield:  Oak Park Committee Trunk or Treat, 4 to 7 p.m. , Saturday, Oct. 18. Volunteers needed; contact Oak Park Committee at oakparknh@gmail.com.

Greenville: Trick or treating is Friday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. 

Hancock: Trick or treating is 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. The Recreation Committee’s Jack O’ Lantern display is Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24–25, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Residents should drop jack-o-lanterns off Oct. 24 between 5 and 5:30 at the Hancock Town Green and pick them up by noon Sunday, Oct. 26.  The Fire Department will give hay rides on Main Street during trick-or-treating hours. Trunk or Treat is Saturday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents can set up cars for Trunk or Treating in the lot behind the Town Hall starting at 10:30 a.m.

Jaffrey: Trick or treating and Main Street businesses’ trick or treating is Friday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Jaffrey VFW annual Halloween party featuring Travis Rollo is Saturday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m. For information, visit the Jaffrey VFW Post 5615 Facebook page. 

Lyndeborough: Touchstone Farm will host Trick or Treat with Horses on Sunday, Oct. 19, 223 Temple Road, Lyndeborough, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Free admission, bake sale and raffle. This is a fundraiser for Touchstone Farm. https://www.touchstone-farm.org.

Mason: Trick or treating is 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. Contry Hill Farm at 271 Reed Road in Mason will host a Halloween Gymkhana Horse Show on Saturday, Oct. 26. Costumes and events for horses and riders. For information, visit contryhillfarm.com/events/halloween-horse-show-2025.

New Ipswich: Trick or Treat is 6 to 8:00 p.m. Trunk or Treat at Memorial Field, Oct. 31, 5 to 8 p.m.

Peterborough: Trick or treating is 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.  On Saturday, Oct. 25, the Recreation Department will host the Howl-o-Ween Dog Parade at noon in Putnam Park, followed by Trunk or Treat for children starting at 2:30 p.m. in the movie theater parking lot. From 4 to 9 p.m., Depot Street will be closed to traffic for the “Creepy Crawl,” with Halloween activities and treats from local businesses and organizations. Rindge: The Recreation Department Trunk or Treat is Friday, Oct. 31, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Temple: Trick or treating is 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. Halloween Party & Trunk or Treat at the Town Hall on Oct. 31 from 3 to 8 p.m. Family-friendly “Haunted Grounds Walk” at the Temple Emporium, is scheduled for Oct. 18 and 25.  

Wilton: Haunted Trail at Goss Park, 475 Forest Road, Oct 17 and 18 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. “No scare hour” for younger children is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This is a ticketed event presented by Witches Spring, Goss Park, and Wilton Main St. Association.
