Conant blanked Monadnock 2–0, powered by a strong defensive effort and balanced offensive play. Keeper Gretchen Somero recorded the shutout. Sophia Spingola and Caroline Weinhold scored one each; Reagan Boudreau had an assist.
“The girls played hard together! They started connecting passes and producing offensively. It was Sophia Spingola’s senior night, so it was extra special that she scored,” said coach Ashley Lingerman.
She said a key moment in the game was when Reagan Boudreau ripped a shot from the edge of the circle and Caroline Weinhold tipped it in.
