The Jr. Mints, a children’s singing ensemble sponsored by Music on Norway Pond, will launch its 17th fall session on Tuesday, Sept. 30. Rehearsals take place Tuesdays from 4–5:30 p.m. at the Hancock Meeting House and are open to children ages 6–16.
The group has been active for more than 15 years and prepares young singers for performances, including the Hancock Family Holiday Concert on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 4 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Hancock.
Parents may reserve a spot and allow children to “try it out” for up to two rehearsals before making a formal commitment. Tuition is $120, with scholarships available upon request.
