Franklin Pierce University will mark the anniversary of Sept. 11 with a series of academic and community events on its Rindge campus.

On Thursday, Sept. 11, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., the university will take part in the 9/11 Memorial & Museumโ€™s โ€œAnniversary Digital Experienceโ€ in Spagnuolo Hall. The program includes a 30-minute video followed by a live national chat with museum education staff.

The fall public relations class will cover the event by interviewing members of the campus community, creating social media posts and gathering reflections on the impact of 9/11. Their work will feed into a larger project produced by practicum students in the coming year.

Other students are collaborating with DiPietro Library staff on a year-long project to honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11 in 2026. In addition, undergraduate and graduate students producing the PoliticsFitzU podcast will release a special episode on Sept. 11 reflecting on how the attacks have shaped their lives.
