Peterborough businesses will host a “Back to School and Last Days of Summer” celebration on Friday, Sept. 5, from 5 to7 p.m.
The evening features extended shopping hours, live music, art openings and dining specials. Local duo Dragonfly will perform in front of Baker’s Station in Depot Square from 5 to 7 p.m., with a rain location at Twelve Pine Café.
Highlights include the grand opening of Blue Fern Gallery on Main St., a new exhibit at the Peterborough Town Library, and a film festival fundraiser at Peterborough Community Theatre. MAXT Makerspace will host an Art Jam at Noone Falls, MacDowell Downtown presents an artist talk at the Monadnock Center for History and Culture at 7:30 p.m. and the Monadnock Country Club will hold its Troubadour Revue with live music and food.
