Keene Pride Week will return Sunday, Sept. 14, through Sunday, Sept. 21, with a week of events across downtown Keene and surrounding areas.
Now in its fourth year, Keene Pride has grown into one of the region’s largest annual celebrations of LGBTQ+ visibility and community. Events include a Pride Happy Hour and Sober Social, Coffee Club meet-up, Drag Brunch at Yellow Brick Cafe, Drag Open Stage at Madame Sherri’s, a family picnic and a Friday night dance party.
The Colonial Theatre, 95 Main St., will host the main stage event Saturday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. “Crazy in Love: A Beyoncé Tribute Show” will feature RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Olivia Lux and Widow Von’Du, drag icon Sherry Vine and other performers in a one-night-only show directed by Keene Pride founder Adam Toepfer.
The week concludes Sunday, Sept. 21, with the Keene Pride Festival from noon to 7 p.m., filling Main Street, Railroad Square, and Central Square with more than 120 vendors, live entertainment, family activities and performances.
