Victory High School’s 2025 Valedictorian Hayden Aucoin received a $1,500 scholarship awarded by the John Humiston Post 11 American Legion.

The Michael Gallagher Scholarship was established to improve and broaden educational opportunities for the region’s future workforce by providing financial assistance to a high school senior who will be pursuing culinary arts or a trade field. The scholarship is eligible to seniors from the class of 2025 who attended Conant Middle High School, ConVal High School, or a private or homeschooled student in those school districts.

Hayden Aucoin graduated from Victory High School this spring as its valedictorian and is now attending Keene Beauty School.

To apply for this scholarship opportunity, recipients must submit a 500-1,000 word narrative on their background, plans and intention to pursue culinary arts or a trade field, a letter of recommendation from an unrelated adult, and a letter verifying the student’s acceptance to a trade school or verified trade program, college or university.
