The Grapevine Family & Community Resource Center will hold a grand opening, ribbon cutting and open house for its new Avenue A Teen Center on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 3 to 6 p.m. at 4 Aiken St.
The new teen center was funded by the Community Center Investment Program, administered by the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority, and private donors. The celebration will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, guided tours of the new space led by teens and tours of The Grapevineโs main building.
Serving more than 300 youth from Antrim, Bennington, Francestown, Hancock, Peterborough and surrounding towns, the expanded space doubles the capacity for youth programs, provides safe outdoor and pedestrian access, offers full accessibility for people with disabilities and connects teens with The Grapevineโs family support programs.
The project was shaped by youth voices, parent input, school partnerships and community leadership. The goal was to create a safe, inclusive space for connection, growth and opportunity.
Parking will be available along Main Street in Antrim, at the Tuttle Library lot and at the Antrim Mill Building lot at the corner of Aiken and Depot streets.
