The Monadnock Conservancy has announced its application to renew accreditation with the Land Trust Accreditation Commission, an independent program of the Land Trust Alliance.
This national accreditation recognizes land trusts that meet high standards for the protection of natural areas and working lands.
As part of the renewal process, the Commission is accepting public comments on how the Monadnock Conservancy complies with national quality standards. These standards address the ethical and technical operations of land conservation organizations, ensuring responsible governance, financial management and lasting stewardship of conserved lands.
The public is invited to submit signed, written comments by Sept. 28, 2025. Comments should focus on the conservancyโs adherence to the Commissionโs quality standards, which are listed at landtrustaccreditation.org/help-and-resources/indicator-practices.
To submit a comment, visit landtrustaccreditation.org, send email to info@landtrustaccreditation.org or mail comments to Land Trust Accreditation Commission, Attn: Public Comments, 36 Phila St., Suite 2, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866
