Lyndeborough will hold its third Community Day on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 1 to 7 p.m. at the former Town Hall in Lyndeborough Center, 9 Citizens’ Hall Road.

The event, co-sponsored by the Heritage Commission and Historical Society, will feature a farmers market, craft fair and a silent auction hosted by the Historical Society. Lunch will be available from 1 to 3 p.m. from the Lyndeborough Fire Department, with live music by the Pop Farmers from 1 to 4 p.m. The Lafayette Artillery Company will present their history, fire a cannon and conduct a flag retirement ceremony.

Glass collector and historian Mark Newton will discuss Lyndeborough glass and evaluate items. Childrenโ€™s activities, a tiny house display and a historic walk around the center are also planned. The former Congregational Church will be open for visitors.

A steak dinner will be served under a tent from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25. The event is free to attend.
