The Dublin Public Library will host an ice cream social on Saturday, Aug. 16, from noon to 2 p.m. to celebrate the end of its summer reading program. The Friends of DPL will serve Kimball’s ice cream with optional toppings and sprinkles.
More than 100 people participated in the “Lvl Up @ Your Library” program and are competing for prizes, including a bucket of games and T-shirt, a Jetson LED-lit scooter, a collection of classic games, and a Toadstool tote bag with books and a gift card. Winners will be announced during the event, which will also feature music and sidewalk chalk activities.
Organizers encourage the community to attend the celebration, eat ice cream and learn more about what the library offers.
