The Dublin Community Center, 1123 Main St., will host its monthly coffee house and open mic on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The evening features a 60-minute set by Dublin duo Blame It on Sally, made up of April Claggett and Rhine Singleton. The pair performs original Americana songs, blending guitars, dobro, bass and vocals in a mix of styles. Open mic slots will be offered before and after the featured performance.
To reserve an open mic spot, send email to info@dublincommunitycenter.org or sign up at the event. Coffee and snacks will be available, and attendees may bring their own beverages or food. A suggested donation of $5 or more will be accepted at the door, and a hat will be passed during the performance to support the featured musicians.
