The New Ipswich Breakers, the town’s swim team, recently participated in the Milford Rotary Swim Meet, a two-day event hosting swim teams and hundreds of swimmers from across New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

The Breakers netted several second- and third-place finishes among its swimmers in Division I for their age categories.

Second-place finishes included Liam Falter, 13; Ryan Kutyla, 16; and Olivia Kutyla, 13, each in the 50-yard freestyle. Joshua Farrand, 12, placed second in the 200-yard freestyle. Isabella Farrand, 15, and Ryan Kutyla, 16, both placed second in the 100-yard backstroke.

Third-place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle event included Evelyn Gray, 13; Olivia Kutyla, 13; and Zoey Bator, 14. Brenna Gerow, 15, placed third in the 100-yard freestyle. Michaela Flannery, 14, placed third in the 50-yard freestyle, and Calvin Garside placed third in the 25-yard freestyle.
