Firelight Theatre Workshop will present its sixth annual Tiny Stories event Saturday, June 28, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Putnam Park in Peterborough. The event is free and open to the public.
Each year, writers from across the country submit 100-word stories based on a selected theme. This year’s prompt from director Jazimina Creamer-MacNeil invited participants to reflect on trees — through love letters, imagined conversations or scenes set beneath their branches. Local volunteer actors will perform the selected stories aloud.
Audience members are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair. The event will be held rain or shine.
