The previous week’s rains swelled area waters to higher-than-normal levels. Although precipitation in the region stopped by Saturday afternoon, at Dublin Pond and MacDowell Lake, private docks, public roads, stairs and signs that were visible Saturday had disappeared under rising waters by Sunday.
