Friends of the Jaffrey Library meeting features coyote talk

The Friends of the Jaffrey Library will hold their annual meeting on Saturday, April 5, at 11 a.m. in the Collaborative Learning Room at the Jaffrey Public Library, 38 Main St.

Following a brief business meeting, Chris Schadler will present “Becoming Wolf: The Eastern Coyote in New England.” The program explores the Eastern coyote’s blend of coyote and Eastern wolf ancestry, its adaptability and behavior and how humans can coexist with the species. Schadler will also discuss the possible return of the Eastern wolf to the region.
