The Friends of the Jaffrey Library will accept donations of gently used books on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Bean Room at the Jaffrey Library, 38 Main St. Donors may bring up to 20 books in good condition, with no writing, tears or stains.
Recent fiction, nonfiction and children’s books are especially welcome. The Friends cannot accept magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, travel guides or medical, financial and computer books.
Proceeds from book sales help fund library services and programs, including T-Mobile hotspots, museum and park passes, the ancestry.com database and adult programs. Donation times are limited to scheduled Saturdays. Books left with staff or in the outside book drop cannot be accepted.
