Antrim Grange will sponsor its annual penny sale Saturday, Aug. 31, on the lawn of the First Presbyterian Church, 73 Main St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Varied prizes are up for grabs to the ticket-holder of each “auction” item. A sheet of 25 tickets costs $3, or people can get two sheets for $5. Participants do not have to be present to win and will be contacted to make pickup arrangements if their number is drawn. Prizes consist of new or gently used household and gift items, toys, locally made products and gift certificates to local businesses.
The proceeds of this fundraiser go to the ongoing work on the Antrim Grange Hall rehabilitation project.
