On May 7, Antrim American Legion Post 50 bid farewell to the post commander of 28 years, Stephen Roy, and welcomed new Commander Tamasine Wood-Creighton.
VFW District 2 Commander Robert Balantine presided over the ceremony. At the completion of the ceremony, Roy was presented with proclamations from Gov. Chris Sununu and Speaker of the NH House Sherman Packard.
Post members presented flowers to Francia Roy for her support of Post 50 and of her husband’s long command. State Sen. Ruth Ward and Antrim Selectman and Post member Robert Edwards were present for the ceremony, along with many Post 50 members, family and friends.
