On Thursday, June 29, at approximately noon, a box truck rolled into the side of the Dublin T-Bird Mini Mart.
The bumper of the box truck left minimal but noticeable damage to the side of the T-Bird. Wood was splintered, and the accident left a shallow dent in the building.
“[The driver] put the vehicle in park and then got out of the vehicle because it was not moving at the time,” said Officer Stephen Dalterio, who responded to the event. “The vehicle… wasn’t fully engaged in park and rolled forward a bit and basically just rested against the side of the building.”
The driver, after cooperating with police, was cleared to leave the scene.
