The Rindge Conservation Commission is kicking off Pollinator Week with a Father’s Day hike on Sunday, June 18, 1:30 p.m. at Tetreault Park and Rindge Town Forest.  The family-friendly 1-hour hike is free and open to everyone.  The walk will begin at the parking area and will follow well-defined paths, stopping to visit the pollinator garden.  David Drouin, Rindge Conservation chair, will lead the hike along with Deni Dickler, master gardener. Tetreault Park is located on Rand Road. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, and a bottle of water.

The next four hikes in the series are July 23 at Converse Meadow (includes a paddle tour), Aug. 20 Back-to-School Hike at Schoolhouse Park, Sept. 17 Watershed Appreciation Hike at Contoocook Marsh Conservation Complex, and Oct. 15 at Miriam Hunt Memorial Forest. The events are free of charge and held rain or shine.
