A Lyndeborough man was driving a tractor-trailer that crashed Tuesday morning in Barrington.

According to State Police, at approximately 5 a.m., troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop G – Motor Carrier Enforcement Unit were requested to assist members of the Barrington Police Department with crash involving a commercial motor vehicle in the area of 1253 Franklin Pierce Highway.

Responders observed a 2009 Peterbilt tractor with attached trailer resting on its side with the cab of the vehicle against a tree. The trailer was carrying household trash, which was emptied across the road.

The driver was identified as 67-year-old David Garon of Lyndeborough, who was uninjured in the crash. He was cited for excessive speed and the vehicle was placed out-of-service due to the damage.
