Alison Asaff has won the Jaffrey Woman’s Club’s annual $2,000 Conant High School Scholarship.
The scholarship award is presented once the student has completed his or her first semester of college. Asaff is attending University of Rhode Island, majoring in sociology and looking into picking up a second major in psychology. She has an interest in what drives people and their well-being, which has her eyeing a career in social work and perhaps law school and family law at some point. When not attending classes, she works the campus mailroom, and she is joining the club rowing team this coming semester.
