As of Monday morning, Eversource reported fewer than 20 customers without power in the region after Friday’s storm brought heavy winds and rain to the area.

Of those, 10 were in Wilton, with six in Lyndeborough.

According to a Dec. 24 statement from Eversource, more than 600 line, tree and service crews – including crews from Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, North Carolina, Virginia and Canada – were working to make repairs and restore power, and on Monday, the company stated crews would continue to work throughout the day until all power was restored.

According to the New Hampshire Department of Safety’s Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, as of 6:30 p.m. Sunday, about 6,000 customers in New Hampshire remained without power as crews continued working to restore service.

“We would like to thank our local, state and federal partners for their hard work and cooperation in helping to keep Granite Staters safe on Christmas weekend,” stated Robert Buxton, the division’s director.
