The Park Theatre, 19 Main St. in Jaffrey, will present a free screening of the movie “Elf,” followed by an opportunity for people to have their pictures taken with Santa and his elves in the theater lobby, Saturday, Dec. 17, at 1 p.m.
The event will also include free holiday headbands and candy canes, along with more surprises and a raffle for a free movie party for up to 30 people.
In “Elf,” Buddy, raised as an oversized elf, travels from the North Pole to New York City to meet his biological father, Walter Hobbs, who doesn’t know he exists and is in desperate need of some Christmas spirit. The Given family is sponsoring the event.
