The Peterborough Town Library recently received a 20-foot Zeus flagpole, manufactured by PLP composites in Fitzwilliam.
PLP Composites has been in business since 1964 and sells Zeus flagpoles all over the United States. The company offered to donate a new flagpole when they heard the former pole was removed during the library renovation.
Peterborough Town Library reopened after renovations in September 2021. The south lawn was home to the pedestrian bridge during the Main Street Bridge construction that recently completed. Final plans to landscape the front of the library will be implemented in spring 2023.
“We are very grateful to have such a wonderfully talented manufacturer of this product locally and appreciate their generosity in helping us restore our flag to its historic location,” stated Library Director Corinne Chronopoulos.
