In case you missed it, the inflation rate in Germany is 7.9 percent. In Italy it is 9.1 percent. In Holland it is 14.5 percent. In Poland it is 16.1 percent.
The reasons for higher inflation throughout the world are well-known: pandemic shutdowns, supply-chain issues, labor shortages, higher prices for oil and natural gas and the disruptions caused by Russia’s war on Ukraine. So when Republicans tell you that President Joe Biden is responsible for high inflation, they are trying to mislead you. Don’t let them.
Inflation is a global phenomenon with many causes for which no one person – even the president of the United States – can be blamed. You will also notice that Republicans don’t offer any solutions, which is status quo for them.
