Wilton Collaborative Space, 25 Gregg St., will host a free workshop with free emergency preparedness items Wednesday, Nov. 2.
Families can assemble their own emergency kits. Items provided will include emergency radios, Mylar blankets, first-aid kits, lanterns, flashlights and batteries.
Vanessa Palange, the community outreach coordinator for the New Hampshire Department of Safety’s Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, will share the four key steps to being prepared for an emergency. She also will share free resources that are available to residents and visitors to New Hampshire so they know what to do to stay safe before, during and after an emergency.
Space is limited. Registration is required by calling 603-654-2581 or sending email to wiltonlibrarynh@gmail.com.
This is a project of the Wilton Public & Gregg Free Library and the Town of Wilton, in partnership with the state Department of Safety’s Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
