The Democratic committees from Jaffrey, Rindge and Dublin are hosting events to give voters the chance to meet and speak with Democratic candidates.
The Jaffrey and Rindge committees are collaborating to sponsor an event this Sunday, Oct. 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Jaffrey American Legion hall, located at 20 Webster St. in Jaffrey.
Dublin Democrats are hosting a meet-and-greet Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Dublin Public Library, located at 1114 Main St.in Dublin.
At the Jaffrey and Rindge Meet and Greet event, residents can meet and talk with party leaders and candidates on the ballot in November.
Candidates expected to attend the Jaffrey and Rindge event include Matt McLaughlin, candidate for New Hampshire Senate District 8; Shoshanna Kelly, candidate for Executive Council District 5; and state House of Representative candidates Dick Ames, Jeff Dickler, John McCarthy and Hannah Bissex. Also in attendance will be Chair of the Cheshire County Democrats Mohammad Salch and former state Senator and founder of Granite State Matters Jeanne Dietsch.
Ames, McCarthy and Dickler are also expected to attend the Dublin event. They will be joined by New Hampshire Senate District 10 candidate Donovan Fenton.
