On Monday, Sept. 19, Jaffrey VFW Post 5613 was host to officials from the national and state VFW organizations. One of the ladies from the national group was in total awe from going to the Cathedral of the Pines.
This note is not about this group. This note is to the Auxiliary members of Post 5613. The hall was beautiful. The decorations were outstanding. The dinner and accessories were mouthwatering. They did a remarkable job on this function given regards to the time limits that were imposed on them. But then again, they always do.
I think that I have the feelings of Commander William Ryan and Quartermaster Wilfred Pelletier along with mine in saying thank you to their hardworking and appreciated organization. To the Auxiliary members, thank you for making this meeting the success that it was.
