The Friends of the Jaffrey Library will hold their monthly Donation Saturday Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon.
People should bring books to the Bean Room on the main level of the library, 38 Main St. People can bring 10 books in good condition and volunteers will screen them and possibly add them to the sales. These Saturdays are the only times book donations can be accepted.
The criteria for accepting books are posted by the two book sale locations, the one on the main floor and the other on the lower level across from the water fountain. These shelves are reviewed and replenished weekly. This fall, Book Donation Saturdays will be held Oct. 8, Nov. 12, and Dec. 10.
Funds raised by the Friends of the Jaffrey Library help support library services and programs, including T-Mobile hot spots, museum and park passes and databases such as ancestry.com.
