The Jaffrey Chamber Motorcycle Poker Run returns Sunday, Aug. 21.
The run was an annual summer event for more than 10 years but has not been held since July 2019. This year, the run will be a ride beginning at the Monadnock Plaza in Jaffrey between 9 and 10 a.m. and ending at the Jaffrey American Legion with music, prizes, raffles, cash bar and barbecue. The grand prize will be a gift certificate for Howard’s Leather Store in Spofford. The event is sponsored by Red’s of Jaffrey, Monadnock Disposal and Peard Properties.
Lunch is included in the registration fee, which is $20 per person. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit a scholarship fund awarded to a Jaffrey high school graduate wishing to pursue further education in the technical or vocational related field.
