Temple’s Community Advisory Committee has scheduled a charrette on issues in the community Oct. 14 and 15.

A charrette is a focused brainstorming session that brings together professionals to brainstorm recommendations to address challenges a community faces. The charrette in Temple will be looking at the parking challenges in the village center, recommendations on how to use town properties, including the Holt and Skladany properties; and creating an affordable housing neighborhood with agriculture and sustainability in mind.

On Friday, Oct. 14, there will be public listening sessions from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m. The charrette team will present its recommendations to the public Saturday, Oct. 15, at 3 p.m.
