The 10th year of summertime concerts in Depot Park in Peterborough will take place Fridays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. between July 8 and Aug. 19.

The opening night of the series July 8 features Brandy. Based in New England, this seven-piece band plays music ranging from jazz to Motown, R&B and rock.

Another new addition performing July 15 is the Massive Groove Band. Based in Boston and performing around the world, this band offers an array of musical styles that include vocals, bass, drums, guitar, keys and horns.

Certain Tremble performs July 22. Hailing from the Boston area, the band is led by the husband-and-wife team of Mayer and Susan Statham, along with percussion, guitar, bass and piano.  Their repertoire spans several decades and covers genres from Motown to modern.

Playing on July 29 is The Tom Foolery Band, a nine-piece band comprised of jazz and classic musicians.

Back on Aug. 5 is the Paul Klemperer Band.  Originally from Boston, Klemperer now lives in Austin, Texas, where he works as a bandleader, teacher, composer and writer. He has been with the summer music series from the beginning, and his music features elements of jazz, R&B legends and his own compositions.

New to the series, Boston-based Hot Club of New England performs Aug. 12. The group is a musical collective featuring swing, gypsy and jazz musicians of the region with a mission to bring the style of the swing era and the Roaring ’20s to a modern audience.

Closing out the series on Aug. 19 is Los Sugar Kings. The Boston-based quartet performs traditional tunes of Afro-Cuban son, rumba flamenca and salsa while adding their own repertoire.

Free parking is available all around Depot Park, including the new parking lot across the river with a foot bridge that brings people right into Depot Park. All ages are welcome, as are pets on a leash. In the event of rain, an alternate date will be announced.
