A hundred years ago, downtown Peterborough was a mill village on the verge of big changes. See the ways the town has changed since 1922 and the places that remain the same on a historical walking tour Saturday, July 9, at 10:30 a.m. This Monadnock Center for History and Culture walking tour introduces guests to what the town was like in 1922 and how the changes from the 1920s have shaped the town.
The walk will take approximately 90 minutes and will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe thunderstorms, the tour will be rescheduled. This walk is limited to 22 participants. Registration is required.
