The New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC) opened a new 10,500-square-foot New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlet in Rindge Tuesday, May 17. Along with doubling the floor space of the existing Rindge outlet, the new outlet will feature 3,600 wines and spirits. The store moved to a freestanding building on the same property within the Cheshire Marketplace on Route 202.
“We are excited to open this brand-new New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlet in Rindge, featuring a customer-friendly shopping environment and an ever-growing selection of products at the most competitive prices,” stated NHLC Chairman Joseph Mollica. “This new, freestanding outlet is the latest example of our ongoing effort to invest in our outlets across the state to enhance the customer experience, while continuing to build on our brand. We are confident this new location will play an important role in driving critical revenue to the New Hampshire General Fund to support a variety of vital state services.”
Modeled after the new Warner and Epsom outlets, the new Rindge outlet includes temperature- and humidity-controlled wine vaults, high-efficiency LED fixtures, a refrigerated case and oversized aisles for easy shopping.
“Cheshire Market Place is happy to celebrate the grand opening of the new, expanded New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlet. It is double the size of the existing outlet and has an enhanced presence and branding,” stated John Matthews, principal, DSM Realty, Market Basket’s real estate division. “The new freestanding outlet is part of a larger redevelopment that includes a new Marshalls department store that will open later in 2022. Market Basket, the NHLC and Marshalls all deliver value to the customer every day, attracting shoppers from a wide radius to the Rindge shopping center.”
Since 2012, NHLC has renovated, relocated or constructed new outlets in more than 30 communities. Over the past year, NHLC opened new outlets in Claremont, New London and Littleton and is building a 13,000-square-foot Manchester outlet and a 12,000-square-foot outlet in Concord at Exit 17.
