Ecologists Jeff Littleton and Steven Lamonde of Moosewood Ecological LLC will hold a public workshop that introduces Greenfield’s new Pollinator Pathway initiative Tuesday, May 17, at 7 p.m. at Greenfield Meeting House, 776 Forest Road.
Pollinators are facing steep declines due to pesticide use and loss of habitat. The workshop will highlight local pollinator biodiversity and what private and public landowners can do to support and conserve pollinator populations. All are welcome.
The Greenfield Conservation Commission and Stephenson Memorial Library are sponsoring the event. For information, contact Conservation Commission Chair Roger Lessard at 603-933-3130.
