Petition warrant articles for the Contoocook Valley School District must be received at the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 106 Hancock Road, Peterborough, no later than 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11. Petition articles must be accompanied and supported by written application of 25 or more registered voters of the school district.
A public hearing on the budget will be held at the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 106 Hancock Road, Peterborough, Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 6 p.m. The snow date is Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m.
Candidates for school district office should file their declaration of candidacy with Brenda Marschok in the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 106 Hancock Road, Peterborough, no earlier than Wednesday, Jan. 19, or later than 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 28.
The following School Board positions are open: three-year positions in Antrim, Dublin and Hancock (one in each town); two three-year positions in Peterborough; and a one-year position in Peterborough.
The first part of the annual school district meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. in the ConVal High School gymnasium, with a snow date of Thursday, Feb. 10, at 6 p.m. in the high school gym. Safety protocols in accordance with CDC guidelines will be followed.
The second part of the meeting, which includes voting for school district office and the district budget, will be Tuesday, March 8. Voting will take place at the following times and locations:
— Antrim Town Hall in Antrim, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
— Pierce Elementary School in Bennington, 8 am. to 7 p.m.
— Dublin Town Hall in Dublin, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
— Francestown Town Hall in Francestown, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
— Greenfield Town Hall in Greenfield, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
— Hancock Town Office in Hancock, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
— Peterborough Community Center in Peterborough, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
— Sharon Meeting House in Sharon, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
— Temple Town Hall in Temple, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
