Francestown Land Trust welcomes back Susie Spikol to the fall Joan Hanchett Nature Series to present a program “Since I Couldn’t Be an Otter, I Became a Naturalist” about her life as a wannabe otter Friday, Nov. 19, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the second floor of Francestown Town Hall.

Spikol will tell stories and explain how everyone can benefit by emulating otters and connecting with their playful side. She is communities program director and teacher-naturalist at the Harris Center for Conservation Education.

The Joan Hanchett Nature Series is a free program for adults and children of all ages. It is sponsored by the Francestown Land Trust, George Holmes Bixby Memorial Library, Francestown News and the Francestown Conservation Commission.

Everyone in attendance is asked to wear a mask.
